- Do you offer student pricing?
Not exactly, but we like to think our products are already at their "student price", which we offer to everyone.

- When will the Analog Delay Tool (ADT) be released?
We announced this one was "coming soon" over a year ago, but we became sidetracked by our effort to provide cross-platform support (Windows, Windows x64, OS X VST, OS X AU) which we have just recently completed. We're now pulling ADT off the back burner and expect it should be in Beta very soon.

- I have a studio workstation but I also like to make music on my laptop, do I really need to purchase a second license?
Not if you can assure us that you won't use both machines at the same time. We're usually happy to issue our customers a second key for their other system at no additional cost, just ask. Our EULA does state otherwise, but that's only so we can retain the right to refuse, which we would only do if we felt someone was giving away or reselling keys. So far the honor system seems to be working fine and we haven't found reason to refuse anyone's request for extra keys.

- I want to re-sell my copy of your software. Are license transfers supported?
No, sorry. This is for several reasons, the main one being that there's no way to know the original owner has removed the software from their system (the only way we can think of to allow that would be if we used a hardware dongle based copy protection system, something we really don't want to do). Another reason is the customer support we offer, if a license is re-sold we would be faced with additional work supporting the new user, which we don't get paid for. Finally, it's very important to us that there only be one price for our products, and only one place where you can go to purchase them (here), we don't want our customers becoming our competition. Please note that we do take this policy into account when calculating our products' prices.

- What happens someday when I upgrade to new hardware?
Just send us an email with your new product serial number and we'll generate you a new key. (Emailing us from the same address you used when purchasing the product is the best way to identify yourself. If you're using a different email address then you can identify yourself by sending your original product serial number and authorization key.) Note that if we feel you're asking for new keys too frequently we do reserve the right to refuse, but it hasn't happened yet. Our customers are the good guys and we want to help you make music, not get in your way. You'll find our customer support is among the fastest in the business, we won't leave you hanging for weeks like some of the bigger companies do. Usually we turn around support requests in a matter of minutes!

- What happened to Poly-Ana's free, fully functioning, 7 day demo?
With our new efforts at cross-platform support, it was getting difficult to find a "secret place" on every hardware platform and operating system where we could store the first run date. We've also had some complaints about the 7 day demo period not being long enough, with the demo expiring before some users could find enough time to properly run Poly through her paces. So we decided to change to a non-expiring demo mode that makes occasional silent gaps in the audio output and disables the saving of patch and bank files (however your project state will be saved... so any project you save while evaluating the demo will still work after you've purchased the product). This way there's no hurry, you can take all the time you need to get to know the product.
